Meet Suthinee Nildee, Community Manager, Regus Icon Park, Chiang Mai, Thailand

When Suthinee Nildee moved her life across Thailand to be with her family, she was able to continue her career with IWG 

Suthinee Nildee, Community Manager for Regus Icon Park in Chiang Mai, is a strong advocate for a more modern way of working, which made her the perfect fit for parent company IWG.

“The world has changed and working culture has changed,” she says. Flexible working is preferable for today’s workers – we should all be able to work productively anywhere, anytime.” 

Part of the Regus Thailand family since 2011, Nildee’s change in personal circumstances meant she needed to find a career closer to her mother’s home. Fortunately, as the Regus presence in Thailand expanded, so did her options. 

“Id been working with Regus centres in Bangkok for years before I left for my hometown to be with my mother after my father passed away,” says Nildee. “A few years later, I heard that Regus was expanding to regional areas outside Bangkok, and Chiang Mai would be one of the destinations.    

“I was given the chance by my old manager to be a part of the new centre's opening team, so I took it right away. It's such a great opportunity to be able to work with Regus again while staying close to family in my hometown.” 

Since being part of the launch of Regus Icon Park Business Park in the centre of Chiang Mai, Nildee’s infectious positivity has served her well in the role of community manager.  

“I’m mainly involved in maintaining a good community among Regus members,” she says. “I believe that one of the many reasons people choose to be a customer of ours is that we can provide them with a good working environment and a community that has great ability to support the growth of their business.

"It really matters to me to be positive. Keeping a positive attitude isn't just good for yourself, it is also good for the people around you.” 

Having the chance to work with people from different parts of the world – be it customers or other Regus employees – is one of the things Nildee loves most about her job.

“I enjoy meeting and understanding them,” she says. “And it’s an interesting challenge to understand the diversity of cultures, languages and personalities across the Regus community – and know how to commute well with each individual customer.”
