Coming soon: new IWG locations in the US

Coming soon: new IWG locations in the US

This season, the world’s leading provider of flexible office space will rapidly expand its footprint across North America

During autumn 2019, IWG is enjoying a healthy expansion across the US – particularly under its Spaces brand.

Starting with the Big Apple, New York City will gain two Spaces locations this season. Coming in October, Spaces Gramercy will take over nine floors of a historic building in Lower East Side. Tenants will find themselves at the heart of the neighbourhood’s thriving tech scene, with world-class dining options and fashion boutiques on their doorstep. The location will offer seven private meeting rooms, a penthouse with a soaring ceiling, and 27 co-working desks for creative entrepreneurs seeking a stylish space in the commercial district.

Meanwhile, Spaces Hell’s Kitchen will arrive in November. Set along the Hudson River, the rooftop terrace of this waterfront business hub will present inspiring views across the Big Apple and New Jersey. Members will have access to excellent transport links, with several subways and bus stations within walking distance, and there’s also a Citi Bike Station across the street from the entrance. Overflowing with cultural attractions and international restaurants and bars, Hell’s Kitchen is an ideal location for Spaces’ curious clientele.

On the East Coast, a hotly anticipated Spaces opening will join Miami’s fast-growing co-working scene in September. Spaces the Wynwood Cube will launch in the city’s arty Wynwood district, forming an exciting new hub for likeminded creatives to collaborate and exchange ideas. Located just around the corner from Miami Central Station, it’s also a 20-minute drive from Miami International Airport – well positioned for those looking to host international clients, or who need easy access to a global flight network.

Over on the West Coast, a new Spaces location will be opening its doors in the global epicentre of startup culture, San Francisco’s Silicon Valley. Coming in September, Spaces Oyster Point will launch in Silicon Valley North, home to the world’s largest cluster of biotech companies. Designed to be a hotbed of innovation, the cutting-edge facility will have two floors of designer workspace complete with collaborative areas and a private patio for relaxing and socialising.

Moving down the Californian coast to San Diego, Spaces opened a dynamic new location in early September within SoCal’s Makers Quarter mixed-use campus, brimming with trendy places to eat, art galleries, gyms, independent breweries, and covetable apartments. Spaces Makers Quarter embodies its ultra-modern surroundings, with sleek, contemporary workspace spread across four floors. As well as the buzz of Makers Quarter, members have an array of event space within easy reach, as well as green space.

Chicago is also gearing up for a new Spaces launch in September. Opening in an iconic downtown building, Spaces River North will launch amid the Windy City’s tech scene, offering a working environment that’s engineered to inspire creativity, with 17 co-working desks for members looking to soak up a communal atmosphere. Shops, restaurants and attractions lie moments from the new Spaces location, and there will also be a rooftop terrace with sweeping views of Chicago’s skyline.

Down in Texas, two major new openings are significantly boosting IWG’s presence in the state. Spaces Deep Ellum has just launched in Dallas, in a vibrant entertainment district in Old East Dallas, which enjoys a colourful alternative art scene and lively music venues. The sophisticated new flexible office space will be accessible for members 24/7 and is within easy reach of transport links to all corners of Dallas.

Finally, Spaces CityCentre One is coming to Houston in September. Set along the city’s main artery, Town and Country Boulevard, the new location is close to the Energy Corridor business district, and is also moments from parks, woodland, cafes and shops. Its five floors of flexible workspace offer a choice of private offices, six meeting rooms, shared lounges and top-floor balconies to work from.
