IWG opens first centre in Honduras

The appeal of flexible workspace continues to grow as IWG opens its first centre in Honduras with franchise partner, Grupo Premier.

Opened in October 2020, Regus Torre Nova II is located in the centre of Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, in an exclusive mixed-use development, which also houses high-end stores, restaurants and a cinema. Other tenants in the building include major multinationals, including Microsoft, Banrural, Bayer, and Startek.

The Regus centre, which sits on the ninth floor of the Novacentro Shopping Centre, covers 1,160sq m, and is divided into different sizes of office, coworking space, meeting rooms and executive lounges, which can be redesigned according to the client's needs.

Grupo Premier, is a respected family-owned investment group focused on developing, commercialising, and managing commercial real estate in Honduras, including major shopping malls within the country. It is already exploring property options for its second Regus centre in San Pedro Sula, Honduras’ second largest city, which is hoped to open in 2021.

“We are excited to partner with IWG to bring to the Honduran market the world-class experience that Regus commands in the flexible serviced-office sector,” says Franchise Owner, Guillermo Pina. “So far, we have been getting excellent reviews from our clients, who are very satisfied with the high standards of our facilities, and we look forward to growing our footprint in Honduras and the Central American region.”

“It’s exciting for IWG to add another country as well as expand our offering to another major national capital,” adds Andrzej Mrozek-Folkierski, Global Corporate Development Director at IWG. “Honduras has significant potential with two major cities – Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula – which gives us an opportunity to bring an international branded quality serviced office offering to the market.”
