IWG’s brands continue expansion with new openings in February, March and April

A whole host of new IWG offices opened for business in February, with March and April set to see that trend continue. After last year seeing new offices opening at a rate of almost one a day, the impressive growth of IWG’s portfolio remains just as swift since the start of 2020, with new sites coming onstream across its nine brands on almost every continent on Earth.

The Regus brand saw two openings in February: Cyber One Eastwood in the Philippine city of Manila, and West Basilix in Belgium, Brussels. An incredible 65,000 vehicles a day pass along the latter’s location on Avenue Charles Quint – putting it right at the heart of Europe.

Alongside their Regus counterparts, IWG’s Spaces saw three new openings. Spaces West Plano Village in Plano, Texas; Spaces Jack London Square in Oakland; and Spaces One Oxford in Pittsburgh were all added to a hugely exiting and growing coworking portfolio.

If February got off to a great start, March saw things really ramp up. Regus openings included two in the land of the rising sun: Pacific Century Place in Tokyo is a 31-storey building that’s as beautiful as it is tough. Featuring a stunning glass frontage, it’s also designed to withstand a major earthquake. Urbannet Kyoto Shijo-Karasuma in Kyoto is perfectly located with links to two train stations and is right across the street from the local chamber of commerce.

Other openings include Salaam Tower in Djibouti; Plaza in Azerbaijan; Concorde Park in Maidenhead; Heuwaage in Basel; Leadvisor Building in Hanoi; City Centre in Riyadh; Ithum Towers in Noida; Platina in Mumbai; Willits Town Center in Basalt, Brecht in Belgium; Lodi in Milan; and Almere Station in the Netherlands.

Spaces openings included Central Station in Vienna; Grafenauweg in Switzerland; The Docks in Frankfurt; Kennedydamm in Düsseldorf; Spaces 2 and U in Seattle; Veneto in Rome; Fabryka Kart in Krakow; Tour & Taxis in Brussels; Martin Place in Sydney; The Junction and Liberty Village in Toronto; Avebury Boulevard in Milton Keynes; Baker Street in London; and Marques de Pombal in Lisbon.

IWG’s HQ brand saw two openings, comprising The Metropolis Samrong in Samutprakarn and Jeanne d'Arc in Rouen. Signature, IWG’s flagship executive brand, welcomed Corso Italia in Milan to its exclusive portfolio of high-end workspaces.

April will continue to see even more openings in multiple locations around the world, with Regus sites due to open their doors including Niger Tower in Conakry, Guinea. Located in downtown Kaloum's business center where most of the country's companies are based, the site is within 500m of the presidency, ministries, port, French embassy, major hotels and banks.

Other openings include the Quartz in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Seestern in Düsseldorf; Brotteaux in Lyon; Tour de Lyon in Geneva; The Square Business Center in Frankfurt; Den Bosch – Stationsplein in the Netherlands; Karlstrasse in Munich; The White House in Georgetown, Cayman Islands; Confienza in Turin; Julphar Tower in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE; Waregem Business Park in Waregem, Belgium; and Anfa Place in Casablanca.

There are also openings planned for Mundo Plaza in Salvador, Brazil; Franciscan House in Ipswich; São Paulo in Brazil; Gunma in Takasaki, Japan; and Leiden Bio Science Park in the Netherlands.

Spaces will see eight new openings for the month with Theanous in Athens; Joo Chiat in Singapore; Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia; Galleria at Post Oak in Houston, Texas; One Brickell, Miami; Triumph Boulevard in Lehi, Utah; Peachtree Road in Atlanta; and Deansgate in Manchester.
