Signature by Regus expands its London footprint

IWG to open the largest Signature by Regus location ever in new 40-storey tower in the City of London

IWG, the world’s leading provider of flexible office space, has a new icon in its portfolio.

The group has signed a deal to create its largest workspace to date in London’s Bishopsgate under its Signature by Regus brand, whose sites are housed within iconic buildings in the world’s most vibrant capitals.

The venue will be housed in 100 Bishopsgate, a new mixed-use 40-storey tower in the City of London, the capital’s financial hub. IWG will lease 80,000 square feet of the building, currently being developed by Canadian investment group, Brookfield, and convert into sophisticated, inspirational flexible office space.

When the structure is completed and launched this summer, the Signature by Regus space will play host to the Royal Bank of Canada, Jefferies investment bank and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer law firm.

“This is a landmark building, which is creating a new destination for the City, located in a fantastic position” says Stephen Holloway, UK Network Development Director for IWG. “We are taking space both in the new tower, and also in the adjoining low-rise, historic building at St Catherine’s Place, offering our customers the option of different working environments underpinned by the Signature brand offer.”

He adds: “We are taking this new centre before the building is completed and will be able to pre-market the opportunity for customers to take space in an iconic building and location. We are also able to offer a brand-new Signature product in Bishopsgate for the first time.”

Signature by Regus already occupies covetable London locations including Pall Mall, Canary Wharf, Berkeley Square, Tower 42 and 30 St Mary Axe (aka The Gherkin).

Created to offer elevated levels of service for smaller companies that require flexible leases in world-leading locations, the Signature by Regus experience is akin to working in the refined atmosphere of a five-star hotel.

“There is significant demand for high-quality, flexible working solutions in the City of London, and we wanted to improve and increase our presence around Liverpool Street. With the arrival of Crossrail, will continue to be one of the prime office locations in the UK,” says Holloway.
