IWG partners with Provada real-estate expo in the Netherlands

A new Regus Centre in The Hague is announced during Provada, the largest real estate expo in the Netherlands

IWG, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace, recently attended Provada where the company made a momentous announcement.

The expo coincided with IWG’s news that the company had signed a ten-year lease with investment management firm LRC Group for a new Regus Centre in The Hague.

Housed in a building on Johan de Witt Avenue 7, in The Hague’s international zone, the new 1,456-square-metre Regus Centre is on the doorstep of the World Forum Convention CentreCatshuis – the official residence of the Dutch prime minister – and the city’s embassies. It’s also moments from some of the city’s most notable museums and hotels.

The new Regus location is situated in a core economic area for The Hague, which is also experiencing huge demand for governmental offices. The new venture strengthens IWG’s partnership with LRC Group by adding a seventh location that they will work on together.

The centre will be in a multi-tenant building that can be easily reached by public transport and car,” says Thailavathy de Groot, board member for IWG Netherlands. With this agreement, we will strengthen further cooperation with LRC Group, which we also want to roll out further in Europe.

As well as spreading the word about The Hague’s new Regus Centre, IWG also ran a co-working stand in collaboration with the expo. Now in its 15th year, Provada enjoyed a record number of visitors in 2019, welcoming more than 26,000 real-estate professionals to Amsterdam for a three-day line-up of industry-leading speakers, panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities.

IWG enjoyed a healthy presence at the expo, with its country manager, the development director, a development manager, two area sales directors and ten area sales managers attending.

IWG development director Annelou de Groot also took part as a speaker in two thought leadership sessions, including a panel about how proptech can build a better environment for building occupants.
